Weird ASROCK skt. 754 and 939 combo MOBO!

This is a bizarre motherboard that has space for socket 754 or 939.

Wouldnt that be awesome if you could run both sides at same time!?

Does it handle dual DDR or PCI-x???

err...what do you mean sides? You mean CPUs? cauze skt 939 will support dual core...which will be 2 CPUs linked or summat to that extent. It's AGP, not PCIe, and...help me with ram...Newegg claims that this mobo supports skt 754 and skt 939 ram...help me here...

yes it does run both skt of ram (2) 754 and (3) skt 939

then some memory would have to be separate if you're running dual channel, socket 754 doesn't support dual chanel

There is no 'socket 754' or 'socket 939' specific RAM. They both take the same RAM, but if you're using a socket 754 CPU then it won't run in dual channel whereas if you're using a socket 939 CPU it will run in dual channel. It's only socket 940 that requires ECC registered RAM.

PCI-X is diff from PCI-E BTW
