Parralel Port

i have 1 parralel port on my motherboard (Asus A7n8x-x) and that is occupied by a Laser Printer. I am getting a scanner that also uses a parralel port. Is there a adapter so i can have another parralel port on my computer. Or is there an adapter that lets you plug a parralel device into a serial port.
