Keyboard stopped working

My friend was sending an email and when it was done, the keyboard no longer worked on her laptop.

Probably just a co-indidence, but the operating system is new (Windows XP), but the laptop is a few years old.

What would cause a keyboard to just stop working?

Either pop it open and troubleshoot, or take it in to a *laugh* pro. But if a *laugh* pro breaks it, they pay for it unlike you
