I downloaded "boot xp" to change my ntoskrnl boot screen file the program automaticley creates an anoying backup, and each time you boot it asks you which ows line you want to boot from the normal one or the back up, i selected the normal one loged on whent into boot xp deleted the back up line and unistalled the program. Now i am stuck with a screen that asks me which os line to boot from. Any way of bypassing this??

Have you got your Windows XP disk? Boot from it and go to the command prompt and type "fixmrb" (without quotes) I think. Then restart.

Launch MSCONFIG (Start -> Run -> MSCONFIG):
Select the boot.ini tab, and click the button that says "Check all boot paths". This will delete any entries that aren't actually mapped to an OS.
