Alright dude, here's the best I can do for $650:

CPU- AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (S939)...$150
Motherboard- GIGABYTE GA-K8NS-939 nForce 3...$90
RAM- Kingston 1GB (2x512MB) PC3200...$108.50
Video Card- eVGA GeForce 6600GT (AGP 8X)..$179.99
Hard Drive- 80GB Western Digital...$58.49
Case- Antec w/ 350 watt psu...$59.99

Grand total...$646.97

Dude, that is a really sweet rig for the money, and the socket 939 allows upgrades down the road. I really want to build that baby for myself, hahaha. I hope you like it.

By the way, I disregarded points "g" and "h" for the following reasons:

g: The CPU comes with the retail fan and heatsink, and they should be more than enough. The 939 CPU's run very cool, so that should not be a problem.

h: I have that same case myself, and it came with a 120mm fan in the rear which was plenty. Like I said above, the system should run very cool anyway. If it's a tad hot, you can purchase another 120mm fan for the front. I got one off ebay for $7, shipping included.

:::NOTE::: The motherboard does allow for dual channel RAM, sot that's another bonus.

oh you forgot shipping. the shipping for all that is gonna be like 60 bucks and i repeat cannot spend more than $650

Alright, here is a new system, with shipping prices included:

CPU- AMD Athlon XP 3200+...$144
RAM- 1 GB Kingston DDR PC3200...$108.50
Motherboard- Biostar M7NCD Pro...$53.99
Video Card- eVGA GeForce 6600GT (AGP 8X)...$179.99
Hard Drive- 80GB Western Digital...$58.49
Case- Antec w/ 350watt psu...$75.98

Grand Total...$620.95

I hope that fits in your budget better, and all shipping prices are included. As you can see, the CPU and motherboard are different, however they will still perform very well for gaming with that particular video card. Also, the motherboard allows the RAM to be run in dual channel, so that is a bonus. I think your client will be very happy with that setup.

you live in california

newegg hates us californians so they have to charge us with tax (they hate us los angeles-ians [lol, not even a word] the most, we get a 8.25% tax)

you fremonters get a 7.25% (if i remember correctly)

check monarchcomputer.com, they don't charge tax (they're georgia based, and they shipped east to west coast in 3 days, well technically it WOULD be 4 days, but i ordered like at 11:50 pm)

woot, i am a "fremonter" lol.

amd athlon 64 3000+ / $150
abit av8 / $116
corsair value select ram 1gb(512x2) /$ 110
80gb hd / $65
evga 6600gt / $ 185
400watt psu/ $50
