btw, would just like to say thanks for helping me out with this.

oh and there won't be any software problems with this switch will there?

Things look good, except:

I would consider a different power supply than what comes with the case. It's funny how many problems have been caused by 'generic' power supplies.

Also, with your budget, do you have any money left over? If so, let us know, and we can maybe point out a better vid card.

Your welcome for the help:)

Software probs? Nothing comes to mind.

What type of psu would you recommend?

Also already over budget so better cid card would have to wait, probably same for psu, but I'd like to see what I can do.

sorry my bad about the memory.

The mitherboard Andrewc posted is pci express and the graphics card is agp.

I would seriously recomend getting a amd 64 3000 and spend the saved money on the graphics card.

also you will need to buy a heatsink with the cpu you posted, as it is oem.

Woops, good call. I didnt even pick that up. Instead of the 9550, maybe a X300 or 6200 would do for a budget card.

A heatsink is what cools the cpu. If you look in my sig, its what is below that fan. The cpu is below the heatsink. Either get a retail cpu or get a after market one. Apart from that the system looks good. The 9600xt is a good card as well.
