AGP, PCI, or PCI express??

PCI Express is new, fast, and is gonna be here for a while.

So I'd get used to it.

This is false, 16x does not mean double that of 8x, I believe it refers to the serial of the interface.

If you are buying totally new parts I wouldn't see any reason not to go PCI-E unless you don't want to speed a lot of money of a video card.

I currently have an AGP 8x but thats because my comp is old, next comp im gona build, will be PCI Express

i have around 10 pci graphics cards, and newegg stil sells them

Its not that hard to find a PCI card, I still can find the old Geforce 2 MX400 64mb, i have maybe 4 of them... and they still work great... they even played halo for pc.... just wasnt all that great, had to play it on lowest settings possible and had to close a lot of background programs...

If i possible ill sell it and the driver cd if i can find it for im guessing $20... still works great and they have Arctic Silver 5 between the GPU and heatsink... Just i never used them with the Arctic Silver 5 so you will have a period of 200 hours to get the lowest temp achived....

sure, id buy it for $20, it would cost like $40 to send it to Australia though.
