Change it to DMA. You can connect the drive to the secondary IDE if you cannot change the primary to DMA.

Yes, I cannot change it to DMA. But then I will have to connect my CD-RW to Primary IDE. Is this OK?

Yes. Primary and Secondary are the same. You can use any of them for any device. You might have to change your boot settings in your BIOS though, because your HD will be connected to the other IDE channel.
