Program error

Turned on the comp this morning, and have been getting this message all day:

WinMgmt.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the program.

As a newbie of sorts, any help would be appreciated

Im using Windows 2000, no new RAM.

Unfortunately my sysytem came to me without the disk, pre loaded. Ran the command through, but it wanted me to insert disk

yeah 2k/xp are bad about needing the cd for sfc....hope ya have the files on a recovery partition

Thanks for all your help everyone-I ended up doing a clean reinstall of 2000 as nothing seemed to help

Everything is working nicely now, except i have no audio-alerts etc work ok, but no sound from my music files

Hope you can help
