At last, I've made that upgrade to my computer that I wanted (see sig). This is the second time I've purchased the 3500+ and A8V, the last time I found it wasn't compatible with generic RAM, so I went with the recommended Kingston DIMMs.

No real issues as such, my only little quarm is that the additional USB ports don't seem to want to work, even when the USB settings enabled in BIOS... but I'll figure that out eventually I guess :)

Now I can't wait for a 64-bit OS ;)

My A8V is compatable with the chepest generic ram available in Canada :)

Make sure you plugged in the rear USB ports right and the voltage is enabled to them. It's very easy to get a pin wrong, expisally with the cases that have a pin for EACH usb connector that is seperate (these things are ANNOYING)

I'm looking into it, I don't know much about my new setup yet- I haven't got accustomed to the BIOS settings. But I'll get back to you on that one; I've heard tales of people OC'ing their 3500's to 3800 speeds, so who knows ;)
