I may need to upgrade my powersupply, but I really cant spend ~$100 on a new unit. The local computer store has some Kingwin ATX2.0 units for a fair price. 450w, 28a I believe. Are they decent, though?

I really can't tell you, a few things you should ask before you buy though.

Get the store to hook one up for you and use motherboard monitor 5 to check out the rails, if they are 5% over or under where they should be or are bouncing around like crazy you shouldn't bother with such a power supply.

Also, just pick it up. Any solid power supply will have good weight to it.

Maybe i'll give it a go, then take it back if it doesn't work. Im just really pressed to get something affordable to use until I can afford a good Fortron, etc.
