Ocing an old vid card

i am currently running a 2001 sony vaio at 2.4 ghz but i put in a new video card. not sure which one how can i find out? anyways it was bundled with a free download of hl2 a few years back and was wondering if i can oc it. mainly i need to know if you can oc aftermarket parts in a store bought computer

i have no idea how to get into bios(sorry GIANT noob here) but downloaded rage 3d and clicked on the radeon 9600 series hoping that my card was one of those. what sort of temp monitor should i use. any suggestions?


how can i find out what my card is?

u tried power strip

ummm, right click on my computer>go to hardware>devide manager>display adapters>and its will show your video card

well great now im depressed
i just ran aquamark 3d and when there is that REALLY big explosion i got 3 frames per second

Here i'll try aquamark3d and see how bad mine is what is the site cause my video card is a Geforce Ti 200 and noone ever heard of it before haha@!!@
