why does everyone say that xfx is a crappy card company???
In coolbits, with my xfx 6600gt i got 559/1.12 with detect optimal settings! I have had it running for a month with no artifacts.

This has been discussed tons of times already. It's not saying that every card you get will be bunk...because obviously they wouldn't be in business. But there have been tons of posts from XFX owners who've either had problems, or had to RMA the card.

The rate inwhich bad cards come off the assembly line shows the quality of a company and as of late it seems XFX produced some bad cards, whereas I can't say I've seen any posts with an eVGA 6600GT and someone having issues with it.

Those 3dmark scores stock or OC'd scores BTW?

Those are stock scores, I get about 3200 on 05 with the oc if i recall.

You should try the 71.84 drivers, I got 3300 in 3dmark05 stock once I used those compared to 3088 under 66.94
