I bought myself some Corsair TwinX1024-3200C2PT, and I am a bit unsure of how to set the Cas Latency settings in my BIOS.
First off I notice that when Cosair's site lists the latency numbers they list them as
2-3-3-6
I understand the memory's latency rating is 2, so I am unsure what the 3, 3, and 6 mean. Could someone explain this?
I was also wondering, under the setting in my BIOS to set latency. There are 3 other categories that can be set,
Example, I think one of them was RAS# to CAS#.
I assume these other 3 settings have something to do with the, 3, 3, 6.
How do I set these? I realize the computer can automatically set these parameters, but I've heard they do not always set them to the best possible setting, so I wanted to learn how to do it myself.
