How would this work for a gamer?

i suggest you get amd since you are building a gaming system. maybe a amd athlon 64 3000+
and you should get a 6600gt instead of the video card you suggested above.
 
i dont have paypal or a credit card and amd is too expensive right now for me bro i mean like for a mobo and cpu p4 2.4 thats pretty good for that price dude

corsair value select 1gb ram / $110
80gb hd / $65
which comes out to be $630. you can usethe extra 70 for a case and psu.
