C Chrono In Runtime Messages 193 Mar 14, 2005 #1 i was looking at mobos and i saw an ABIT "VT7" PT880, that looks pretty good im changing my mobo cos SIS chipsets are pretty dodgey, but i dont wanna go to another dodgey one. Is VIA anygood, or just walk away from the idea?

VIA arent bad but if ur gonna get a amd board the nForce chips are really good, nforce2 = socket A nforce3 = socket 754 nforce4 = socket 939 (pic-e versions) the nforce4 comes as a standard with 800mhz fsb the ultra with 1000mhz fsb or the sli which is the ultra with the ability to have 2 nvidia grahics cards running in parrell to improve performance
