I am planning on setting up a simple cluster during my networking class. I want to use live cd OS's as i can't install linux on the machines, so is there a particular linux live distro i should use or better yet a live cd cluster distro based on linux?

Any info would be helpful, thanks. We have all the hardware needed, i just need the software.

Edit: I found clusterix which looks very promissing, any other suggestions.

There is a distro of Linux called clusterKnoppix.

I recommend you boot from the network so that you dont have to make so many CDs.

Google for cluster Knoppix and find it and give it a whirl, comes with a bunch of great tools to show that the cluster is operational and what not.
