3D hardware features

I was trying to get this application going. checking the settings i came across this.

"Transprency is temporaily diabled because an application that uses DirectX ir 3D hardware features is currently running"


do you knw what this means?

yeah, that would help. Also post your current GPU, and drivers installed.

princeton GMAT on CD

my GPU is nvidia 5700

i installed the drivers on the cd rom

try updating them from nvidia's site

i get that all the time...it's because you have transperency enabled when you drag a window. It's just telling you that the application you are running doesn't allow the transperency to work. Disable it in your nVidia desktop settings to get rid of the message.

but how do i do it in the nvidia settings?

for my settings you just right click on your desktop select 'nVidia desktop manager' from there you will have to look around and see where transperency settings are. Once I get home I will give you a more detailed explanation.
