Well my budget is $200 (£100) and can't afford a brand new 6600gt but my budget isn't fixed if I wait a few weeks.

I don't mind second hand and want a kick ass card that handle all brand new games at full settings. Plus I'm using the GeFroce FX5200 at the mo and had no probs with it.

I don't know the deal with RAM I just assumed more was better.

Second hand Inno3D Nvidia Geforce 6800 GT 256mb or the XFX version, what's the dif?

New Nvidia GeForce 6600 GT 128MB

Hey a friend won a bid on ebay for a box of video cards for $200.
When he got them there were 3 6600GT's in there lol .
He ended up selling 2 for $125 a piece to his racing NASCAR buddies and made his money back .
If you cant afford the better card id recomend saving your money a little while longer.You'll be glad you did .
