Enabling dual monitors

can an ati radeon 9250 support dual monitors where its like the screens display a different part of the resolution and if so how

If it has two ports on the back of the card, then, Yes, it can.

I don't have the article in front of me, but Computer Shopper or PC World ran it. It was all about running dual monitors. You can search their sites and find it, though.

Yea...then to get the software up and running, i think you can do it from windows.

yea u will be able to. i did it on my 6600gt but i used nvidias setup program and i dont know how to do it with ati, but i put it back to one monitor cos its dropped my benchmark scores be a hell of a lot.

Windows natively supports dual monitors. All you really need are dual outputs. It can be set up in Windows.

right click on your desktop >> properties >> settings
you can turn dual montiors on and off there. works in Windows XP. dont know about other distros

Thats the easiest way i think, and thats how i did it
