Slot Coolers

Does anyone have any experience with them? Are they worth the space and power to operate? I've been thinking of adding one to bolster my case's exhaust a little.

they blow quite abit of air but obviously depending on the speed they canmake alot of noise. also i because hot air rises i dont see the point of blowing air out of the bottom.

but you can get ones to blow air on to your vid card to.

Oh, I was under the impression that slot coolers drew in air then vented it out the back. Hmm.

i had to use one as a pc under my use was having a Radeon 9000 (without fan), and i installed directly beneath it, and it worked more than my expectations.

u can get cards that have two 70mm fans that blow upward on to your video card. i just got the impression u were meaning the extracter blower. if u want to improve ur exhaust the best u can do is drill a hole in the top of ur case and have a blower fan there.

wait wait, so slot coolers are fans you put into the pci slots?
that is pretty neat. anyone know a place that sells these?
