Christ I've been all over the internet looking for help, these are the cards I might get, one of these, I have a HP Pavilion 7955, with a Pentium 4 1.5 GHZ processor, upgraded my memory to 758 megabytes of whatever was top of the line about a year ago, bought in around December 2002, I'm getting about 20-30 FPS in Counter Strike, I need a new card. I don't know what kind of Mobo I have, but a friend of mine who's in the know with computers said it would accept a Radeon 9600 back when I was last looking for a card. I'm pretty sure one of these would fit, if not I will put it in the other computer in the house which was bought a few months ago and with a new card it would run Doom 3 and HL2. I am a gamer, and I'm looking for a card that would allow this computer to run HL2 at minimum settings, maybe Doom 3 as well. If it won't, I'll install the new card in the other computer, and take the other computers Geforce4 MX 4400 and put it in my computer. Which card should I get? Any help would be EXTREMELY appreciated. I've been trying to decide for 3 day's now. Thank you very much for your time. :)

In my opinion, none of them are all that great, but if i had to choose, id choose the 5600
Well for the money what's the best card I could under under 70 dollars?

Well there is no point in having a top of the line card, as it is just going to be limited by the processor.

Just over a hundred is the 9600xt.

Out of those I would get a 5600 on their.

However, I think an ATI 9550 made by Gigabyte is a good idea for the price.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AN AGP SLOT FOR AGP CARDS THOUGH.
