I have old computer (BIOS is 1996) with 2 USB 1.0 ports.
I can't use them for some reason, they cannot be enabled in BIOS, it just says disabled.
So I decided to put PCI addon card with USB 2.0 for more speed and all.
But now the PCI card won't work properly, I've installed its drivers that came with it.
When I put an USB 2.0 external hard drive to the PCI card, it will found the hard drive and show its contents but I cant copy anything from it or to it and it says it's corrupted.
The hard drive itself works in this computer when I take it off from the USB case and mount it to IDE.
Also the USB case works in other computers.
Oh, and most USB sticks wont either work in this computer..

Argh!
What to do?

I have Windows 2000
Pentium Pro
196MB mem
