motherboard damage or interent cable?

hey guys i was ocing and un ocing my cpu and then when i restarted nothing displayed on my moniter so i cleard teh cmos and my comp booted up but then my aim .. steam.. internet explorer wud not go online? is it the motherboard or is it my ethernet cable? my cables skin is off and its kind of damaged cud that be it?

nvm i got it it was the cable i tried diff one and it worked
