The average CRT still beats any LCD. Search the forums for good arguments.
Anyway, I would get a new monitor. I don't think you can fix this.

Yep, Major is currect. You can only burn images on CRT screens. Thats nothing to buy a LCD over. You should always have a screen saver. Thats why they call them "Screen Savers" lol . If your not using your computer, then turn it off, or set it on Standby.

LCD's cant compare to CRT. Not yet at least.

Also the response time on the LCD's are crap and that is why you get a ghosting effect

lol whats wrong with 12 or 8 ms response??? neway lets not make this into a crt v lcd thread.. coz we all know lcds are the best, its like pci-e .. they arent the most popular yet but will be here to stay
