Memory problem

All you clever people,

I have just (literally) bought and installed WarCraftIII, following isues with previous older type games which won't work on my system.

Guess what this has crashed too... The only difference is it generated a memory error. something like tried writing to memory and failed.

question, where does meemory 0X0004C358 live?

Is it graphics card or mother board?

This could be the root of all my previous software problems.

What do you think?

Shame WarCraft3 was just getting going and looks great.

how much ram on how many sticks do you have. try going to one stick and see if it is a dimm that is giving you problems. i had a similar problem, cannot read at memory addres x0x08x79c or something. changing my ram fixed the problem.

STEP ON : MAKE SURE THAT YOUR CUMPUTER HAS THE MINIMUM SPEC RECOYER FOR THE GAME LOL(FOR MEMERY AND VIDEO)


TEST YOUR RAM WHIT MEMTEST 3.0 SO YOU WILL KNOW IF YOUR RAM IS BAD.

IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE STICK OF RAM TEST ON AT THE TIME

MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE THE GOOD DRIVER FOR YOUR VIDEOCARD

NVIDIA( OPENGL ) ETC....

OR PLAY ON YOUR LAPTOP (LOL) JUST KIDDING

Checking memory.

Could not find memtest 3.0 using 2.0. I'm sure that will work fine.

you need to test with another brand of memory. maybe the games do not like your brand of memory. didn't you say you had generic "premium" brand memory?
