No Sound Yet It Says Audio Drivers Already In Use

That's the only way to fix it...so uninstall and then reinstall. Liz

After I install the drivers, this comes up:


'An error occured durring the installation of the device'

'The name is already in use as either a service name or a service display name'

and it wont let me load them

I uninstall them and still the same happens, that cant be the only way of fixing it.

no i did not, i installed XP using a friends CD and could never get the sound to work...

i did not steal, i simply couldnt find my windows XP cd that came with my computer

and i needed to reformat because of a virus i had
