An image burned in CRT monitor

I have a Windows 2000 startup window burned in my CRT monitor.
Is there any software that could lessen this effect? (By increasing intensity of light in the damaged area)

Ive never had an image burn into my old monitor... and i let it set for a week on the exact same screen.....

that is what happen when you leave an image on the moniter too long.

that's why they inventer screensavers.

LCD has horrible picturequality in 3d gaming. itz excellent 4 ur eyez and watching moviez though
