SLI? or no?

but i bet a 4000+ exceeds 2.6 or the FX-53 for that matter. BTW if you where paying attention (this goes for all of you) money isnt a problem w/ these two chips.
 
Either wait for the 4200+ or stick with the FX-53.

Yes SLI boards will run with only one card, infact in most cases you have to actually change settings on the board to enable SLI. Most boards use a PCB design where you remove the little board to enable sli. If you look at the DFI board you will see a ton of jumpers between the two PCI-E slots...16 jumpers I believe it is...you have to remove all of them to enable sli :p
