i have 1 computer (der) 1 modem and 1 xbox. my modem has 1 usb port and 1 ethernet one. can i connect the xbox one to the ethernet, the usb to the computer and have both of them sharing the connection?

otherwise ive heard of those wireless usb's that can transmit to one another... might be better to spend 30 bucks on a switch though.

Try it, I have a few friends that have the Xbox hooked to the PC similar to how you described.
