hey guys i curently have a x800 pro and since i got the money on my hand srite now ive been thinking of upgrading to a x800 xt pe do u guys think its worth it?

Personally, no. You have 500$ on your lap? The X800 pro is good enough. I would upgrade my processor if i were you. You can get a 3800 with that money, and have some left over. The 3800 is slightly under 400$ now.

Big difference between the xt pe and pro so you would see a good improvement. Then again the x850 is better than that and almost the same price but that would require a new mobo. I don't know about doom 3 but on any game I play this card handles aa and af no problem at all. You can also see my benchmark scores on stock speed to give you a good comparison of the improvement you will see since I have about the same stuff as you.

hmm wat if i buy a new prossesor and new mobo? im thinkin of an amd 64 3500+ 2.2 ghz whinchesterr but i need a mobo that will like my ati card because i have tried via chipset and it just swlaloed it in the ass and spit my ati out with 20-40 fps so can some1 lnik me a good mobo that will go good with my 64 prosseosr? ty link me please
