Question: Drive Error Check

Hi,

I never knew that WinXp had a Drive Error Check until recently. When I attempted to perform it on my C drive after phase 2, I recieved an error stating that Windows was unable to perform the check.

Any opinions?

no idea... i would suspect that it was just not properly connected to the motherboard, but then you wouldnt be able to see the drive in device manager... sorry..

does it say could not perform check on mounted disk? did you try and force it to unmount? how exactly are you running chkdsk?

It works now...

Weird... I didn't do anything... And I tried doing it after I restarted, so that couldn't have been it.
