AMD 64 3000 vs 3200 (939 pin)

I was originally going to get the 3200 for this rig im building, but I'm already over budget. I was thinking of skimping out and getting the 3000. It would be paired with a 6600GT. Do you think the performance increase with the 3200 would be *really* worth it? I can always upgrade later.

I guess my question really is: For gaming, is it imperative that I grab the 3200, or will a 3000 suffice for now?

A 3000 ought to do you good, especially paired with a 6600GT.

OC the 3000+ instead of getting the 3200+. You'll get pretty good results as compared to the 3200+ stock.

Thats what I had in mind. I just wanted to make sure that the 3200 doesnt smoke the 3000 so bad that the 50 dollars is more than justified, even if I am spending too much.

I would get the 3000 myself. Easily overclocked and will suffice as is anyway.
