Hi TechForum Experts, Im new here so please be patient with me.

I have a shiload of IDE HDDs, but my mobo supports only SATA, so I got these lil suckers
I2S.jpg
.

Right now I have a Intel915GEV mobo with a primary SATA Seagate200GB and the IDE channel is used up with 2 DVDRWs. I installed a ATA Maxtor160GB and a ATA WD100GB using the converters, they powerup but the mobo is not recognising them. I even tried all the HDDs' jumper settings, and the BIOS is still not seeing them!!

WTF?

I was thinking about getting them.... But make sure that you have your BIOS setup to use SATA or RAID which ever your trying to do.....

yup i have both PATA and SATA enabled in the BIOS.....still its not able to recognize them

more suggestions please!
