The FX-55 is 2.6 gighertz, right...that's about equal to a 3.9 gighertz intel....

Depends on the Intel. If it's less than an extreme edition or whatever their top processors are then, according to that one particular bench that was posted on here, it took an Intel being at 5.2GHz to compete with the FX-55

A 3.6 ghz extreme edition overclocked to 3.9 ghz will still not keep up with the FX-55 except for a few area. You need to clock it over 4.0 ghz for a closer comparison.

working on the 150% thing my chip should only be a 3000 when clocked at stock but it can beet 3.6ghz chips in games but i spose that more general
