Gaming Monitor (High Refresh Rates) (Help Please)

Hello,

Does anyone know what type of monitor is best for gaming? I am mostly looking for a monitor that has high refresh rates so I can up my FPS in game play, does anyone know of any monitors that are good, If so could you please post some links of them so I can possibly check them out.

Depends on how much resolution you want
Sony had and still has the highest refresh rates but they discontinued their line of CRTs a long time ago - you may be able to still find them
Anything $170+ is really good.
