Hey, I have an old gateway computer with a 698mhz amd processor.. and this gay gateway motherboard wont let me change the master HD ect. ect. So I wana buy a new motherboard with a processor.. Anyone have any suggestions on a good one I could get off of newegg? Note* I dont like Pentium's .. AMD only please.

Athlon XP 2800+ (or 2400+ Mobile if you want to overclock), Asus A7n8x-e (Abit NF7 v2 if you want to overclock)

i agree with wayne,... either xp 2200+ and up or check out the AMD 64 MOBOS id say ASUS or ABIT if your strapped for cash check out ASROCK descent board for the buck
