Please help with Visual Studio .NET 2003

Installed on Windows XP Pro. When I try to compile (debug), I receive "the Security Check failed because the IIS Admin Service did not respond." The description of the error is "The IIS Admin service terminated with the service-specific error 2148073478 (0X80090006). Event ID#7024. The event source is "Service Control Manager." Please help. Thanks

when you installed VS .net did you install IIS? It ask's you to install it if you didn't....

It didn't when I installed VS.NET. :/

when you put in the first cd it does a compatibility check and tells you if you need to install IIS, if you have a legal copy with all the cd's it will do this every time.
