Im currently on my mothers computer doing a report for my government class. I want to cut a section of my report out and past it a little lower down. The computer lets me cut the piece out but when I try to past it the past option of grayed out. I tried the menu edit menu and the "ctrl-v" keys but notiong works. Heres where it gets really weird. I tried to copy some files off of the harddrive on to a disk, and the smae thing happened. When I tried to use the send to option the prgoress window showed up but it just sat there for 5 minutes until it told it to exit. I haven trecieved any error messages and acording to my mother it happens a lot. Anyone have any idea whats up?

Windows 2000 professional
522 MB's of ram
Intel Generic AGP video card
