How do you know the multiplyer number?

if stock is 1.5v then i think you are correct. most will do ~2.3-2.4GHz stock vcore. Just make sure it stable lke Nubius said...
 
Get a program called CPU-Z under the cpu tab look under clocks and right under the v core speed it will tell you the multiplyer of your processor.
 
I forgot about that lil program, but im running my 2800+ at 2250Mhz with a temp around 89F on the Stock Heatsink, and the Vcore is at 1.55 and still extremly stable with my new HDD.... Old HDD caused to many errors -.-
