P4 Thermal Layer and Artic Silver?

Does anyone know if you should peel the thermal layer off the P4 heatsink when installing it with Artic Silver 5?

I'm guessing that you would use both. But I want to make sure.

No. If you're using a stock HSF, then you need to remove the existing thermal pad. You NEVER use both at the same time. That'll completely corrupt your temperatures. It's on or the other and of course AS5 will give you better temps.

99% isopropyl alcohol and a credit card edge. Use plastic so you dont scratch the HSF base.
