Are these good temps...

I have a p4 northy 1.8 overclocked to a 2.21 and stable.

At idle, the temps are around 27*-29* Celcius, and at full use they get up to a max of 41* maybe 42*. Are these ok for now (im plannin on upgrading the stock heatsink)? Would a house fan poinited directly at the cpu do anything for cooling?

And what are the limits of the northy, so I know to keep it away from that?

a house fan pointed at a computer would'nt really help with heat dissipation.

42*C is safe for a computer.

ya, those seem to be pretty good. anything under 30C is a good acomplishment....im' at the 30C barrior with my cpu and i can't get it below...

new heatsink/fan would do it good as well.

nah, i did that before with the fan and never really seen a difference

It wouldn't be dramatic but it would help as opposed to nothing.

if your case doesnt have excellent cooling then a house fan would make a gigantic difference.
