yeah, the only thing though is it says for minimum system requirments on running sims2 is 800Mhz, and mine is a 950. i dunno if it realy matters or not. What do you guys think ?

Over clock it, and maybe you can get some decent Fps on Hl2, Sims 2 your all set, but next card you buy you should save because in the end its worth it for a better card than a quick fix.

Upgrade your CPU before you try to play HL2. It will give you horrible FPS with such an old CPU. Hey, I have an Idea, sell your old rig to me! I need a new server!

That is a great card for a great price. My uncle has a 9550 (mind ya, not liking shopping online, he payed almost 4x the price)

Most of the 9550's are great great overclockers, easily getting a 1\3rd overclock.

It will be able to play hl2 at 1024 x whatever pretty easily. However, if your CPU is under 1ghz, your in trouble. On a 9200SE running with 800 x 600 and eye candy off, i got CPU limited in HL2 from a 1.7ghz p4.

When u dont have a big budget, EBAY is the way to go. Well...atleast thats what i think.
