X800XL vs X800XT

I saw the X800XL in stock for $295 at CompUSSR today . . .

Should I keep the X800XT that I got a couple of weeks ago (around $450) and get the X800XL, or stick to my guns?

I'd save about $150, even more if I sold it on eBay for more. . .

Is the performance gain with the XT really worth it?


edit: btw, i can't play any games right now cause i have school stuff and i have to wait for it to pass

im thinking about 2 weeks before i can even BUY HL2

Yeah you got an x800XT so keep it, dont go thru the trouble of getting a new card. Few months down the road, you will be happy you kept your XT

You sure? I won't be sorry for paying $150 more?

Trust me, 5 FPS more IS NOT worth $150 to me

I would need about 15 or 20FPS more JUST TO CONSIDER keeping the XT

i dont think you understand, i'd be "downgrading" from the X800XT to the X800XL

i'm just wondering if i would lose a lot of performance by downgrading and thus, saving about $200

but i think what you mean is get the X800XL

okay, about 2 weeks ago, i built my new computer

my ORIGINAL plan was to get the X800XL, but those were about $400

so i bought an X800XT for about $500, thinking that X800XLs wouldnt go down in price

but today, at CompUSA, i saw the BBA X800XL for $300

since these cards are a bit alike, im thinking about selling the X800XT for $500 or more and buying the X800XL for $300, thus, saving $200 and probably not losing a lot of performance

u will loose ac ouple of fps but since the xt is 500 im sure there most be some good stuff in there so if i was u i wud keep it if u get xl there most be goodperformacne like the xt so keep it i got x800 and it works okayish =)
