Can I install SP2 as a standalone exe instead of doing it through windows update?
I cant use windows update. Ever since I had to reinstall windows, My school's ethernet connection detected that I have W32.Sasser worm (which I had fixed a long time ago)....I have no idea how it managed to reinfect my system
Since my school has blocked my connection to any websites outside of the school network b/c of the worm, I need a way to install service pack2 (to fix the worm) by transfering it from my laptop to this computer. I cant find where to download sp2 as an exe so I can put it on my computer.... I have SP2 on my laptop, so is there somewhere on my laptop I can find it and upload to my infected computer?
ps i tried the sasser fix tool from download.com and it says I dont have it (but the school network says I do)
