Ive been looking for ways to optimize my computer, as its being a bit slugsih right now. Almost every post I look in about the subject says to go into MSCONFIG and turn off all unimportant services, or something to that effect. My question is how am I supposed to know which service is important to my particular system and which isn't? I'd like to know which proccess is going to crash my pc before I start pressing buttons.

PS. almost forgot, heres my specs

VIA Samuel 2 at 666 MHz
632 MB's of RAM
GeForce 2 MX 400 PCI
SoundBlaster Live! X-Gamer
Windows XP Home w/ SP 1a
Norton Anti Virus 2003

well, Im going to post the services.msc fiel because the other ones about 52 kb's to big

I do have a small in-home network between my fathers comp and my own. I use it primarily for printing and playing games(though his comp isnt good for much besides starcraft), so if any of these settings will stop that from working properly then please tell me now!!
