What can i do to lower my temps significantly? HELP!!!!! AWWWW!!!

I have an athlon XP 2500+ 333fsb which was running 38c~idle with same Tt HSF on cheap motherboard.

The mobo was undervolting to 1.55v v-core so when i bought this NF7-S and put the v-core at 1.65v then I got like 45c+ idle!

It's really hot at stock speeds, needless to say it would go over 60C @ 2.2GHz!

I only had one case fan so my side panel is off!

Would this help??

You just have crappy case fans and not a lot of air flow appearantly. But yeah that temp is right around normal though.

My 2400+ XP would run 65C idle when I had stock fan and no case fans. Then I managed to get it down to 55C idle.

For overclocking that one yeah you'd need it cooler, but if you plan on going the mobile route like you said in your other thread then I wouldn't worry about it and spend money on it right now

well 65C idle is ridiculous. I didn't at all like it being like that.

Preferably it should get no higher than mid 50's on full load, and even then personally I'd be getting better cooling. I like 30's idle and 40's load

Depends on your Vcore. My vcore is at 1.825 and it's cooler than that on full load. You might say "meh well you got the bigwater' but I actually had cooler load temps using the tornado and SLK-900A
