for the last few weeks i've been trying to figure this out, im using a chaintech S1689, I know that 64C is way too high of a reading but i havent had any problems with the computer shuting down or anything.can someone help me fix this so i can get a correct temperature reading ?

you can't fix a bad temp probe. You could RMA it if you wanted, but that's about it.

RMAing would be to send the product back to the manufacturer for replacement or repair. Can't remember what it stands for at the moment though.

Return Merchandize Authorization

They will give you an RMA # so when you read it like that, return merchandize authorization number you can see how it fits.

But yeah, sending it back to where you bought it from if you got it recently and have them send a replacement

yea i love that on my old hp i wud say it was about in the 55-65's cuz when i opend the sidep anel it was hot and when i put my face there the motherboard was shootni out heat
