Just get a video card with TV-Out Support and plug your tv into that... it should work fine

A graphics card with an "S" cable jack might do it...but I wouldn't. It would be like trying to pet a cat wearing leather lineman gloves...You'd get the basic motions down, but forget the actual sensation.

Yeah, having to buy a monitor is the pits, but check around. Ebay sells them all day long, and some of them are actually pretty good quality for the price you get away with. Ask around, especially with people who just bought a new computer bundle from Dell, HP, Gateway, fill-in-the-blank, as these bundles usually have a monitor included. They'll probably sell their old one dirt cheap, just to get it out of the way.

You can also check used computer parts online. Try RetroBox (http://tinyurl.com/4znyl) for starters. Shipping runs $27.50 on monitors.

well, there is another way besides using s-video... but that involves getting an HDTV, and a graphics card that supports DVI-out. HDTV's run on that. :)
