DAT File to MPEG File conversion

Recently downloaded VCDGear v3.5 to convert a dat file to a mpeg file. Ran the converter and an error message popped up. "Invalid MPEG pack size". What does that mean and how can I fix the problem. I would appreciate anyone's input.

Downloaded the DVDCutter Stream and Mp3CDWav Converter 3.5
clicked on dat 2 mpg convert. The convert failed, but the converter came with a dat codec, which plays DAT files. Thanks for the help

hmm .. if u wan to chg to mpg format ..
u can do it by just changin the file extension . it will prompt u whether u are sure anot .. just click on the yes ..
